At Physio Depot we provide women's health services for every stage of life. We offer specialized care, from pre to postnatal support, addressing concerns like incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain. We provide compassionate assistance, empowering women with the resources they need for optimal health and well-being. Sporting Injuries
Regardless of whether you are an elite athlete, recreational level sporting participant or just want to keep-fit, you may sustain an injury at some point. This may affect muscles, tendons, ligaments and/or joints. With these types of injuries, early management is a priority. At Physio Depot, we are very experienced in treating sports-related injuries. As well as providing a clear diagnosis and treatment plan, we will give you an expected timeline for your recovery. Where a referral for further investigation is necessary, we can provide this.
Acupuncture/Dry Needling
Acupuncture or dry needling may be used in conjunction with other treatment techniques to aid your recovery process. Acupuncture and/or dry needling can help with pain reduction, reducing tissue tightness, or it can alternatively be used to stimulate an underactive muscle.
Pre&Post Operative Physio
If you have an injury that requires surgery in the near future, pre-operative physiotherapy can help. Research has shown that the better function you have before an operation, the better results you will have in the recovery phase. Post-operatively, it is important to get moving as soon as possible, in the safest way, and within any boundaries set out by your surgeon. We will work with your specialist to provide a structured rehabilitation plan to allow you to reach an optimal outcome.
